BLOOD BUILDER RECIPE

Ingredients:

100% Welch’s grape juice–64 ounces

Blackstrap Molasses–3 ounces

Apricots–1 1/2 to 2 cups

Prunes–1 1/2 to 2 cups

Figs–1 1/2 to 2 cups

Raisins–1 1/2 to 2 cups.

Directions: Add all the ingredients together. Shake vigorously. Let the mixture sit for 12 to 24 hours. Strain and drink one serving: 4 to 5 ounces. Refrigerate the remainder

Rocket Fuel

Rocket Fuel (Nature’s Antibiotic)

Version 1

  • 7 lemons
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper.
  • ½ inch piece of ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Remove seeds and rind from lemons. (be sure to leave the white vitamin-rich pith just underneath the rind. You may add an orange, and, or grapefruit to help with the sour taste)

Remove the skin from ginger by gently scraping with a knife or spoon.

You may add more cayenne if you can tolerate it. I use at least 1 tsp.

NOTE: This is not cayenne spice from your spice rack. You can get ‘medicinal’ grade cayenne on line or at a health food store. IT IS STRONG!  But it acts as a potentiator, meaning it helps the rest of the ingredients quickly get to where it needs to go. It also assists with blood flow because it helps to thin the blood. It is said to also work better that aspirin to stop an MI)

Blend all ingredients together in a blender till smooth. It should be applesauce-like consistency, but you may add distilled water.

Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator. This will last for months in your fridge. Take 1tsp-1TBS every 3-4 hrs. as needed if having symptoms of cold/flu. May take a tsp-TBS once or twice daily prophylactically.
Please be aware that garlic and cayenne has the potential to lower bp as well as cholesterol for some people, therefore IF YOU ARE TAKING MEDICATION FOR BP OR CHOLESTEROL PLEASE USE CAUTION AND CONSULT YOUR HEALTH PRACTIONER BEFORE USING THIS RECIPE.

 

Version 2 (MUCH more potent!)

Same ingredients as version 1 but with the addition of:

  • ½ tsp Goldenseal powder
  • ½ tsp Echinacea powder
  • 1 root horseradish (peel by scraping or using a potato peeler)
  • ¼ tsp Eucalyptus oil

May also add:

  • 1 tsp Moringa powder
  • 4 pieces of fresh turmeric

Honestly, the taste is awful. It really is an acquired taste. BUT the benefits are priceless.

Some people have experienced nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea.

You can minimize potential GI upset by:

  • Not taking on an empty stomach. (Recommended)
  • Start out with smaller amount (dose)
  • Add distilled/purified water
